Note that, unless you want to do excursions on your own, you will not need a car once you arrive in Karlskrona since transportation will be provided to all the different activities.
From US
The closest major international airport to Karlskrona is Kastrup in Copenhagen, Denmark. From here, it is quite easy to travel to Karlskrona by train or car, either of which takes about three hours. Flights are also available to Ronneby, which is less than 30 minutes from Karlskrona.
Stockholm is another option, but is over six hours from Karlskrona by car or train.
Gothenburg is also an option, and is about five hours from Karlskrona

LODGING
We have arranged for a hotel in the center of Karlskrona with rooms reserved for everyone. The name of the hotel is Hotel Conrad HOTEL CONRAD INFORMATION. Ideally, everyone will stay in this hotel.
Since we have reserved all the rooms, we have been given special rates. The cost will be somewhere between $40 to $100 per night per person, depending on your willingness/desire to share a room with others.
These rates include breakfast and FIKA. You do not need to contact the hotel to reserve a room, and we will assume you are staying at the Hotel Conrad unless you tell us otherwise.
A friendly reminder to keep us posted on your arrival and departure dates so we can block the appropriate number of rooms.
CHILDREN
Children are welcome at all the events. Of course, it is totally up to you if you want to come with or without your kids. At the ceremony, we are going to have a separate area for kids that will be available during the ceremony, toasts, dinner, and party. After the ceremony and toasts, we are asking that all kids under 15 go to the kid’s area where a special dinner will be served and local adults will be taking good care of everyone. Books, movies, games, and beds will be available. The kid’s area will be on location, so it will be easy for parents to go check in as they wish.
